Choose a car that fits your budget
Start with the cars on our website. Use the budget and seating filters to narrow your options, compare the detailed specifications, and use the import cost calculator to plan for taxes. If you need help deciding between models, we can recommend options based on your budget and needs.
Confirm the model and price
Once you have chosen a model, Enicars confirms the vehicle details and price with the supplier. Our listed price covers buying the car and transporting it from China to Kigali. Rwanda customs taxes are separate.
Choose your payment schedule
You can pay 50% of the agreed vehicle-and-transport price before shipping, then the remaining 50% one week before the ship is expected to reach Dar es Salaam. This allows time to send the original shipping documents for port clearance. You can also pay 100% upfront, which helps avoid payment-related delays during port clearance.
Follow the journey from China
Your car travels by sea from China to Dar es Salaam, then by inland transport to Kigali. Enicars coordinates the process. We share the expected departure date, confirmation when the ship leaves, the estimated arrival date and any delays along the way.
Receive your car in Kigali
We keep you informed about port arrival, clearance progress, the planned departure for inland transport and the Rwanda customs-clearance process. Plan for up to three months for the journey to Kigali, not just to Dar es Salaam. Shipping or clearance delays can affect that estimate.
Who do we buy from?
We source brand-new vehicles from established dealership companies with years of continuous business, strong financial backing, manufacturer relationships and the required export licences. Enicars guarantees that a vehicle supplied as brand-new is new.
How should I budget for taxes?
The listed price includes the car and transport to Kigali. It is not a tax-inclusive final price. Use our import cost calculator for a planning estimate of the additional costs. RRA determines the taxes payable, and the calculator result is not the actual amount you will be asked to pay.
Does Enicars offer a warranty?
Enicars provides a sourcing and import service. We do not provide a vehicle warranty. Our commitment that a brand-new vehicle is new is separate from warranty coverage.
